"Salvation" is one word I know to describe this solution to pollution that
flows  in the northeast corner of the Keystone State. Pristine, wild, cold
and clear are others that properly fit!  The salvation I am referring to is
better known as the West Branch of the Delaware River. Forming a
partnership with this magnificent lady and just across from Hancock NY
in Pennsylvania, one will find the
Delaware River Club.  These folks
are truly cordial and hospitable. Their guides offer an extensive
knowledge of the river and can all but guarantee a day of angling
success.

Last summer, on the way home from a "not so successful"
trip to the French River in Canada and at the spur of the
moment, we decided to try and book a float trip down the
river with less than twenty four hours notice.  One cellular
call from Kingston Ontario was all  that was required. The
folks at the Delaware River Club were able to find us a
guide and arrange an overnight stay in one their rooms.
We would arrive late so they left us a key and a note
regarding our mid morning float trip and guide in a mailbox
outside the store. Their hospitality was truly amazing and
welcome.
