The curse seems to ease a little during the last of May and early June when the Sulphurs appear. Windy summer days and a well placed "Hopper" can trigger a strike. An over-hanging limb and the plunk of a Japanese Beetle can be productive as well........ The Letort has it's problems through siltation and urban sprawl ,but all in all our friend seems to be holding it's own... With a watchful eye and a few dedicated volunteers, the Letort can continue to be an angling challenge.......Diz |
